Artificial Intelligence Terms

These Artificial Intelligence Terms are incorporated into the Terms of Service.

1. Next’s Use of Artificial Intelligence

We use Artificial Intelligence to provide certain Services to you including our ChatBot Service. “Artificial Intelligence” (AI) includes those computer systems and software that can perform tasks typically requiring human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, and natural language understanding.

2. ChatBot Service

The chatbot service available on Next’s Website applies AI capability to provide you with automated system generated responses to questions that you may have about our Services (“ChatBot Service”).

By using the Chatbot Service you acknowledge and agree to the following:

2.1 Interaction with AI

You are interacting with AI technology only, and no representative of Next reviews, checks, validates, or modifies your interaction with the chatbot before the Chatbot Service provides responses to your questions or comments.

Your interaction with the ChatBot Service and data and information you provide to the ChatBot Service are monitored, recorded, and stored by Next.

2.2. Informational Purposes Only

The Chatbot Service is designed to be a helpful tool to provide certain information about insurance, insurance related services, and insurance products only. The Chatbot Service does not provide advice or recommendations on insurance related matters. You should not rely solely on the Chatbot Service to make any decisions including decisions related to the purchase, cancellation, change in coverage, payment, claim, or other aspects related to an insurance policy or insurance related matter.

2.3. Validation of Responses

As set forth in the Terms of Service, Next makes no representations or warranties about the accuracy, validity, comprehensiveness, or applicability of the content of the responses produced by the Chatbot Service. Next provides all responses and content of its Chatbot Service on an “as is” and an “as available” basis without any warranty of any kind. YOU AGREE TO INDEPENDENTLY VALIDATE THE ACCURACY OF EVERY CHATBOT RESPONSE OF THE CHATBOT SERVICE BEFORE MAKING ANY DECISION.

If you have questions about the Chatbot Service or wish to notify us in relation to your use of our Services, please refer to Section 33 (Contact Next) of the Terms of Service posted on our Website.

4. Changes to Artificial Intelligence Terms

Next reserves the right, in our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Artificial Intelligence Terms by posting updates and changes to our Website. It is your responsibility to check our Website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our Website or Services applying AI capabilities including the Chatbot Service or any Service following the posting of any changes to these Artificial Intelligence Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
