About This Role
The Head of Talent Development will set the vision, develop the strategy, and execute towards building one of the best places to grow and develop one’s career. This is an ambitious goal and we’re looking for an experienced professional and leader passionate about unlocking the potential of our employees. This role reports to the Global Head of People.

About You
You are an experienced, innovative project/program manager, designer and facilitator of adult learning experiences, and have coached managers and leaders at all levels. You’ve executed on talent reviews and succession planning, designed performance management processes, and built learning programs (including onboarding programs) that are able to scale. This role will initially start as an individual contributor and will begin to grow a team.


Identify, create and execute on key global talent initiatives and programs that align with Next's values to help leaders scale and develop their organizations, to ensure high performing and impactful teams

Initial focus areas will be around defining Next’s cultural philosophy, redesigning how the company provides employee performance feedback and building out a global learning and development strategy

Design and implement the company’s talent review process

Develop and launch a manager and leadership development program that meets learners where they are at and builds capability rapidly

Select and implement a LMS platform that provides just-in-time learning for the company.

Work closely and collaborate with the Head of People on company-wide, critical global talent initiatives

Desired Skills and Experience:

10+ years of experience in HR with expertise in talent management, learning and development, performance management, organizational development, and employee engagement

5+ years managing a team; strong managerial and leadership skills a must

Collaborative spirit and true partner to the business and leaders

Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and lead high-performing teams

You’re hungry to reimagine how the industry thinks about developing and retaining talent

Data-driven and uncanny ability to understand the root problem and driving creative solutions

Proven track record in leading, planning and executing upon global programs and projects in high growth environments

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; high comfort level of presenting at an executive level
