As a Lead Product Designer for Next Insurance, you will ideate, explore, debate, and design the way buying small business insurance should happen. Responsibilities

Act as an integral partner to the Head of Design and create/influence design strategy

Reimagine & refresh our major customer touchpoints within the platform (on mobile and web), including but not limited to the customer checkout flow & post-purchase experience

Gauge usability of existing features and flows and propose ideas for improvement

Lead ideation sessions and guide strategic discussions to help define project requirements and scope

Think “big” during concept stages and hone in on pixel-level detail during production

Gather customer and internal feedback (along with any available data) and iterate based on what you find rather than on hunch or intuition

Foster an open, creative, and positive environment where teammates collaborate

Requirements

6+ years as a designer, with an emphasis on product design, UX/UI design, and Interaction design

Prior experience with B2C and/or B2B products for both web and mobile applications

Experience in a highly regulated industry such as HealthTech, Healthcare, Fintech, Financial Services, or Insurance is a plus

Experience with prototyping tools such as Sketch, Invision, Principle, Figma, Framer, a plus
