We are seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to drive the LTV of our Insurance Agents, aka licensed sales representatives. Next is well-positioned to become the leader in the $140 billion small business insurance market because we offer a 100% online experience that is tailored to unique business needs and we get customers insured in minutes – something no one else does.
The Lifecycle Marketing Manager role is at the center of our lifecycle strategy. This person is responsible for building the Direct Marketing strategy and capability for the 2,000 and growing Insurance Agents who are selling Next Insurance policies. The candidate will build, manage, and optimize email campaigns to our agents and explore additional cost-effective channels to maximize agent LTV and marketing ROI via an agent-centric omnichannel campaign. This includes but not limited to activating prospect agents, re-engaging dormant agents, motivating low-frequency agents, retaining high-value agents. This role reports to the Head of Lifecycle Marketing and works closely with Partnership Marketing.
Build tracking capabilities and reporting for insurance agent email
Plan, produce and automate insurance agent email campaign and then test, analyze and optimize its key metrics
Introduce additional cost-effective communication channels to maximize agent LTV
Collaborate with Partnership Marketing to build a direct marketing strategy, the Creative team to develop compelling messaging/design, and Data Analytics to build audience segmentation - all for Insurance agents
4-6 years of direct response marketing experience
Hands-on B2C email marketing automation experience
Experience leading a lifecycle campaign - prospect, nurture, cross-sell & win-back
Experience owning a sales quota - plan, forecast, review & optimize
Ability to work with the data team to design audience segmentation strategy and the creative team on copy and imagery
B2B account-based marketing experience a plus
