We are looking for an Insurance Reporting Analyst passionate about building compliant and trustworthy data reporting systems. First and foremost, you will build and maintain processes for statistical reporting to industry partners, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate has experience navigating complexity and distilling large quantities of data. What You’ll Do:

Maintain and improve the reporting processes for reports relating to written premiums, financial transactions, claims, and other accounting reports required by insurance carriers and State Departments of Insurance

Manage all aspects of analysis and design of information, systems, and/or processes for internal and external reporting, data capture and quality specifications, and manual processing

Evaluate and analyze metric data ensuring compliance with internal audit, legal and State Departments of Insurance

Establish and maintain reporting requirements as determined by adjacent teams and stakeholders including Legal, Compliance, various State Departments of Insurance, and insurance carriers

Effectively communicate reporting compliance requirements and manage reporting deadlines

Coordinate and liaise with Statistical Agents (NISS/ISO) and State Departments of Insurance to represent Next and ensure accurate flow of reporting and data

What We Need:

Bachelor’s Degree

3+ years of insurance experience, ideally as a data analyst

Professional designations relating to statistical reporting or the insurance industry preferred (CPCU, IDMA)

Solid understanding of insurance reporting to carriers, accounting requirements, and compliance-related required reports

Knowledge of SQL coding and Tableau metric reporting required

Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare detailed reports
