Back in May, we announced our $29 million Series A funding round, led by global insurance companies including Munich Re / HSB Ventures, Markel, and Nationwide. Today, we are excited to share that American Express’s Venture Capital arm has also joined the investor group. Their investment brings our funding round to an impressive total of $35 million. We strongly believe the collaboration with American Express opens the door to tremendous partnership opportunities, given the company’s trusted relationships with millions of small business customers. Amex’s strategy of helping businesses grow through education and tools resonates strongly with the vision the Next Insurance is building: helping our customers thrive. It’s an honor to have leading players within insurance, banking, and venture capital believe in our vision of making insurance simpler for small businesses.
